The Latchis Theatre hosts the Bolshoi Ballet Only in Cinemas simulcast of “The Nutcracker” on Sunday, December 15, at 4 p.m.

In this timeless story, accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, rising star soloist Margarita Shrainer perfectly embodies Marie’s innocence and enchantment, along with the supremely elegant Semyon Chudin as The Nutcracker, captivating audiences of all ages and bringing them on an other-worldly journey.

As the clock strikes midnight on Christmas Eve, Marie’s wooden nutcracker doll comes to life and transforms into a prince. Soon joined by her other toys that have also come to life, Marie and her prince embark on a dreamy, unforgettable adventure.

This cherished holiday treasure runs 2 hours and 25 minutes.

As part of the presentation at the Latchis Theatre, the Brattleboro School of Dance will be on hand to provide information about tickets to its upcoming live performances of The Nutcracker, which will take place Dec. 20-22 at Landmark College in Putney.
