The Latchis Theatre’s Off the Beaten Path film series, which showcases recent films which might have slipped under the radar but shouldn’t have, concludes its four-week Mud Season Edition with “The Red Turtle” on Saturday and Sunday, April 8 and 9, at 4 p.m.

Off the Beaten Path started two years ago as a way to provide alternatives for those film fans who want something other than the latest Hollywood blockbusters. Audience support has been strong.

“The Red Turtle” is an extraordinary dialogue-less film which follows the major life stages of a castaway on a deserted tropical island populated by turtles, crabs and birds.
