As part of the Taking Steps Brattleboro during National Healthcare Decision Week from April 17-23, Brattleboro Area Hospice is hosting a screening of “Defending Your Life” on Sunday, April 23, at 4 p.m., at the Latchis Theater, 50 Main St. Admission is free.

“Defending Your Life” is an afterlife comedy starring Meryl Streep and Albert Brooks. There will be a discussion afterward.
