Latchis Arts presents a special screening of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” (the original, 1973 Gene Wilder version) on Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m., in the Latchis Main Theatre. Admission is by suggested donation of $7, and all are welcome to enjoy this magical film. This screening of part of the Downtown Brattleboro Alliance’s Brattleboro’s Golden Ticket promotion, which runs from May 1-14 and has gotten national attention. At the screening, there will be some special guests on hand to help audiences get into the proper Wonka spirit.
