The season of Bolshoi Ballet Only in Cinemas continues at the Latchis Theatre this Sunday, May 6, at 4 p.m., with “Giselle.”

Svetlana Zakharova and Sergei Polunin star in this chilling yet luminous ballet that has captivated audiences for more than 150 years at the Bolshoi. When Giselle learns that her beloved Albrecht is promised to another woman, she dies of a broken heart in his arms. While Albrecht grieves, she returns from the dead as a Wili, a vengeful spirit meant to make unfaithful men dance until death.

Music is by Adolphe Adam, with choreography by Yuri Grigorovich. The run time is 2 hours and 20 minutes.
