The 7th Annual Brattleboro Film Festival will run from Friday, November 2 through Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the historic Latchis Theatre in the heart of downtown Brattleboro, Vermont.
The Brattleboro Film Festival presents films from the U.S. and around the world that inform, challenge, entertain, and inspire, emphasizing viewpoints and characters often unseen in mainstream media. Partnering with local organizations, the Brattleboro Film Festival produces and promotes special events, spotlighting issues to raise awareness, facilitate dialog, and increase audience diversity through community participation.

Among the films being shown this year is “Built to Last,” a short documentary about the Latchis family and their incredible journey from humble beginnings in a small village in Greece to the heyday of American movie palaces. It is the story of how the Latchis family came to American and built an empire of theaters throughout New England, including Brattleboro’s own Latchis Theatre. “Built to Last” plays on Sunday, November 4, at 3 p.m.
In addition to on-street metered parking there are several pay-and-display parking lots including
the Preston Lot and the parking garage on Flat Street, very close to the Latchis Hotel & Theatre.
Individual tickets can be purchased at the Latchis Theatre prior to each show.

Festival Bundles (5 passes for $40) are available at Everyone’s Books at 25 Elliot Street in Brattleboro and for online purchase via Ticket Elf. Bundles can also be purchased during festival hours at the Brattleboro Film Festival table in the Latchis Theatre lobby.
