Brattleboro Literary Festival

The 18th annual Brattleboro Literary Festival will take place Oct. 17-20, at several locations throughout Brattleboro. The theme of the 2019 festival is Identity: personal identity, cultural identity and our identity as a country. More than 60 authors, spanning many styles and genres are featured.. Literary Festival events are free and open to the public.
The Latchis Theatre hosts Literary Festival events on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19 and 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., both days in the Latchis 4 theater. On Saturday, the schedule includes the Write Action Spotlight Reading at 11:30 a.m.; authors Sergio Troncoso and Jess Row at 1:15 p.m.; and Jabari Asim and Michael Datcher at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Latchis hosts Sisters in Crime at 11:30 a.m.; novelists Ann Cardinal and Abi Maxwell at 1:15 p.m.; and novelists Bart Casey and Charles Fergus at 2:30 p.m.
