The inspirational film “Life, Animated” will be shown at the Latchis Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m., hosted by HCRS, in partnership with Families First and the Winston Prouty Center.

“Life, Animated” tells the story of Owen Suskind, a young man who was unable to speak as a child, until he and his family discovered a unique way to communicate by immersing themselves in the world of classic Disney animated films. This emotional coming-of-age story follows Owen as he graduates to adulthood and takes hist steps toward independence.

A panel discussion and Q&A follow the film. Admission is just $5.
