Latchis Arts’ Movies for Kids series continues in February on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m., at the Latchis Theatre, 50 Main St. Admission is by donation.

February’s theme is Musicals. On Sunday, February 19 the series “A Night at the Opera,” the 1935 comedy which pits the Marx Brothers against the world of opera, with hilarious results. “A Night at the Opera” was selected for the American Film Institute’s list of the 100 greatest American films of all-time. This film is suitable for all ages, although the Marx Brothers’ humor may not be appreciated by the youngest children.

February’s Movies for Kids series concludes with another all-time classic, “The Wizard of Oz,” on Feb. 26.

All kids, their big people and kids-at-heart are invited to enjoy this wonderful film which will surely shine a little light into our Februaries.
