Political drama will be on view at the Latchis Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 4 p.m., when the Latchis screens the National Theatre Live in HD presentation of David Hare’s “I’m Not Running.”

In “I’m Not Running,” Pauline Gibson (played by Sian Brooke) is a junior doctor who becomes the face of a campaign to save her local hospital. She’s thrust from angel of the NHS to becoming a member of parliament. There, she crosses paths with her old university boyfriend, a stalwart Labour loyalist climbing up the party ranks. As media and public pressure mounts on Pauline to run for the leadership of the Labour party, she faces an agonizing decision. Directed by Neil Armfield, the cast also stars Joshua McGuire and Alex Hassell.

The play runs 2 hours and 40 minutes.
